A swimmer has to be disciplined, but occasionally that discipline lapses.
Blurb:
Clint has just moved to the wealthy suburb of Mount Lawley. As an avid swimmer one of the first things he does is investigate the local public swimming pool. The smell of chlorine and the small children chasing each other around the indoor swimming pool are all familiar to Clint. So, too, are the many lanes of people swimming a seemingly never-ending circuit of laps. However, once he enters the men’s changing room and begins to undress he discovers an environment different from the public swimming pool where he used to swim.
He discovers two men who seem to be taking an inordinately long time to dry themselves. Upon closer inspection Clint finds that the men are doing more than drying off. The realization of what they are actually doing is titillating and Clint finds himself being drawn into their little game of flirtation. However, this is merely an introduction to the other delights of the men’s changing room. Clint does manage to complete his 80 laps the pool, but what happens after he returns to the changing rooms is something he will never forget.
It will certainly make training five nights a week all the more fun.

Excerpt:
He arrived at the Mount Lawley Public Swimming Pool just as the early summer sun was disappearing over the trees which formed a border along the western edge of the car park. He walked up the concrete path to the entrance, through the automatic sliding glass doors and up to the counter. A male in his early twenties, square jaw and five o’clock shadow, looked up from some paperwork and started to get up from the stool he was sitting on when a dowdy female in her forties with no jaw line at all came from out of nowhere to serve him. He handed her his money and she thanked him.
“And how do I get to the change rooms?” he asked.
“Turn left at the vending machine,” she explained while chewing a small glob of grey chewing gum she obviously felt compelled to display, “and continue along until you come to the lockers. You’ll see the sign above the door.”
Clint thanked her and headed towards the change rooms.
He’d smelled the heavy, invisible chlorine mist which hovered in every corner of the aquatic centre as soon as he’d entered the main building. It was a familiar smell and one that made him feel instantly at home. As he padded along the pale grey tiles, covered in small raised nodes to prevent small children and the elderly from slipping over and breaking something, he looked out through the glass and noticed that all eight lanes seemed to be alive with swimmers. Although he was used to sharing lanes with other swimmers, he didn’t like it since he was a faster swimmer than most and didn’t like others impeding his training. Too bad there was nothing he could do about it. Shit happens. It was, after all, a public pool.
He found the change rooms and walked in to find a large space with seats around three of the walls and a row of hooks to hang bags and clothing on above them. Another row of wooden-slat seats with hooks above them divided the room almost in half. To his left, the row of seats stopped and a small collection of four porcelain washbasins stood, gleaming white and silver, with mirrors attached to the wall above. Here was the beginning of a small corridor about five metres in length which separated the group showers, the toilets and the urinal from the main change room.
There were two other men in the brightly lit space. One man, about seventy if he was a day, was towelling his overweight body very slowly and sneaking glances at the other guy, who appeared to be around Clint’s age, thirty. Clint averted his eyes and got undressed.
Although he was focused on his swimming, preparing himself for the many laps that he was about to do, he was now distracted. Naked, he turned to face the other two men and caught the old man looking again at the other guy. Clint’s eyes darted over to the smooth, muscular thirty-year old in the far corner just in time to catch the man turn his back to him, but not before he’d noticed that the thirty year old had a hard-on.
