Excerpt:

Cal was released on the Thursday so I gave the staff an extra two days off so he and I could spend time together without interruption and he could also accommodate a few days of solid buggering with his mates. I’d set up a sling in a little-used area of the factory, away from prying eyes where Cal could take his preferred partners for a bit of fun  although it was large enough in area to fit a good baker’s dozen as well as the boy himself.
Izzy had insisted on helping out even though he was still shaky on his feet and in a bit of pain although the drugs helped. His stitches were out but the skin was tight where he’s been cut. He spent his time painting a large WELCOME HOME CAL banner which we hung across the loading dock where Roy and Vinnie would drop him off.
They’d brought over Cal’s gift from me that I hoped would prove my love for him and also prove beyond all doubt that I accepted the behavior he thought was too degenerate to be worthy of love. How wrong he was. My love for my little boy had grown with every single day he was away from me. I was bursting with pride as well as lust for him, hoping I’d get some quality time alone before the end of the weekend. We had a lot to discuss.
Roy’s signal was a brief burst of the siren on approach so we all took up our positions in the semi darkness. The police car pulled into the loading bay and Roy quickly pulled down the shutter plunging the area into total blackout.
I flicked the switch and the overhead lights illuminated the scene as his friends popped out of their hiding place yelling “Surprise” to Cal’s astonishment. I noticed him thumb moisture from the corner of his eye as he was glad handed from one friend to another, Izzy waiting at the end of the line in his wheelchair. Cal hugged him affectionately, kissing him on the forehead.
When all the gushing and well-wishing were tapering off I signaled to the DJ and dance music burst over the PA system. The food, enough to feed an army, was set up on trestle tables and the bar in one corner was already busy.
“Thanks, dad,” Cal grinned, wrapping his arms around me. The electric charge went straight to my cock. He must have felt it as well because he palmed the bulge in my trousers, murmuring, “I missed you, too.”
“We’ll take care of that later,” I said encircling him tight enough I never wanted to let him go.
“I’m spoiled goods, dad. You know that,” he said seriously. “I’m no good.”
“Listen, Cal, I love you. Not just as your dad. I love you like that, too, it goes without saying. But I also love you like a lover. I love what you are.”

Author Bio:

Barry Lowe’s dreams of winning the Nobel Prize for Literature faded about thirty years ago when he realised what he wrote best was about the wild, whacky, wonderful world of sex and that his vocabulary would never rival Patrick White’s or even Evelyn Waugh’s. Since then he’s been happily churning out the odd gay sex comedy for stage as well as a mountain of newspaper columns and an avalanche of erotica for print and eBooks. He is also the author of Atomic Blonde, a biography of 1950s sex goddess, Mamie Van Doren. He lives in Sydney, Australia, with his long-term partner, Wally.
