My Big Fat Greek Pagan Wedding

Melissa and Tara are two women in love and living together in Westhill, Massachusetts. They even share the same faith: Melissa is a devotee of Aphrodite while Tara's goddess is Hera, and they practice a modern day revival of ancient Greek religion. Together two women devise the perfect pagan wedding with both of their goddesses in mind--or so they think.

Drama between friends, relatives, and each other threatens to turn their nuptials into the new production of "My Big Fat Greek Pagan Lesbian Wedding". Tara aims for a small, practical wedding in order to appease her conservative relatives while Melissa secretly wants a big, romantic fanfare. While the couple attempts to straighten out what each of them wants in their ceremony, meddling friends and family provide obstacles for them at every turn.

Can Tara learn to say no so she can say "Yes, I do?" to Melissa? Only a goddess may be able to help her on matters of love, romance, and how to be true to one's heart.

Excerpt:
An enthusiastic, black-clad woman topped with strawberry blond hair almost tackled Tara to the ground. The collision brought Tara to the center of her universe and recipient of her heart.
“Oh, thank you Aphrodite, I’m the luckiest gal in the world!” Melissa shrieked.
Tara remembered Melissa’s words with a smile. A week after Tara presented
Melissa with two matching engagement rings, a flood of events and planning threatened to overwhelm her.
She didn’t know where it began, and why such a thrilling point in her life turned frantic, confusing, and insane.

Vegas Vixens 4 Ever

Tami and Eboni have been roommates for ages. A dual break-up leads to Rocky Road ice cream, leads to an unexpected trip, leads to... well the time of their lives. Come along with these two as they find a way to push out their ex's and bring in the next stage of life.

Excerpt:
Tami clicked the volume button on the remote and loud R&B music filled the tiny room. Scantily-clad women in lingerie swept across the screen. As the commercial came to an end it tagged the experience as “a fantasy you won’t soon forget”. Afterwards the news came on.

“Our new president has passed a ruling that will make all of the couples of America happy. Each married couple that files a tax return next year will receive an economic stimulus check for one to two thousand dollars depending on the amount you paid in taxes. In honor of this decision we here at Three-We News will do a series of budget-busting ideas for couple fun travel destinations. Pick your favorite and spend, spend, spend!”
“I got an idea.”
“I don’t like that grin on your face, Eboni Hamilton. Every time you get that look with your crazy eyes, I end up in trouble. My mother has already refused to bail me out of jail again.”
“I know a place that has an endless supply of vodka-tinis. I know a place where we can take our memories of Desiree and Stephanie and throw them away forever. I know a place where we can get ours.”
Tami looked doubtful. “I don’t know, Eboni.”
“C’mon, girl. I know you have some money saved up and I have a credit card. Sometimes you just gotta go with your gut. I’ll make our reservations online. We’ll leave in the morning.”
“Yeah, whatever. You won’t even remember this in the morning.”
They decided to switch the station over to Celebrity Dirt, one of their favorite new shows. Tami lay her head on Eboni’s shoulder and fell fast asleep. Eboni lay a blanket across her. The digital clock on the end table switched from 11:59 to 12:00. Another day minus Desiree, thought Eboni, how will I survive without her? She’d have to stay up most of the night to set things up, but it was well worth it. Her mind was made up…

White Satin Ribbons

It started with a ribbon. Call it a beacon of light on a dreary day. Gena Wilcox sprinted into Bolt’s Bookstore, weaving between the fat raindrops that hit the pavement with fierce determination. While rain was rare in her part of California , she wouldn’t have traded the weather that day for anything. Fate had dealt its hand.

It started with a ribbon. Call it a beacon of light on a dreary day. Gena Wilcox sprinted into Bolt’s Book-store, weaving between the fat raindrops that hit the pavement with fierce determination. While rain was rare in her part of California, she wouldn’t have traded the weather that day for anything. Fate had dealt its hand.

In the metaphysical section of the bookstore stood a raven-haired woman, around five foot seven inches with serious curves, emphasized by a tight white blouse. Soaked to the bone, the outline of her lace bra shone through.  Denim boot-legged jeans hugged her thighs in a way Gena could only dream. But more than anything it was the white satin ribbon that hung down the back of the woman’s hair like a parted theatrical curtain. It held her spellbound. Why, she didn’t know. It stirred emotions inside her. Made her want to reach out and run her fingers along its tempting texture. Be bound by her wrists within its delicate White Satin Ribbons fabric and endure the raw lustiness of its exquisite owner.

The source of her imaginative sex-capade tucked several books under her arm and turned. Deep lapis blue eyes gazed into hers. Expressive eyes framed with thick black lashes on a pale cherub face. The corners of her pink glossed lips turned up, and then spread into a full-blown smile.

Gena sucked in her breath.

Wordless, their visual responses spoke volumes. Eyelids fluttered. Bottom lips tugged gently between teeth. Sweat beaded above their brows. At some point Gena felt transported to another place where she teetered at the edge of a rocky cliff.

She steadied herself against the bookcase. Her pulse thrummed in a swift cadence. Heat radiated from her skin so hot she could melt an iceberg. Aware of the wetness along the crotch of her panties, she pressed her thighs tight.

The woman circled her toe along the carpet and then smiled. “Hello.”

Her soft, lush voice vibrated deep in her core. After a forced swallow of nerves, she found her voice. “Hi. I’m Gena.”

“I’m Divinity.”

Jumping the Broom

Today was the day her life would change forever.
Those words echoed in Raven’s mind as they had countless times just this morning, bringing with them a familiar twinge of excitement and a shudder of fear that rolled like a tidal wave through her body. This was it. In less than an hour a dream of four years, if not a lifetime, would be fulfilled, and a new part of her life would begin.
Silvery white glimmered against chocolate brown skin as she traced the line just beneath her brow with the makeup brush. White powder fell like snow and she brushed it hastily away with the side of her thumb. A thick dread escaped to dangle like a pendulum in from of her face. With a sigh of aggravation, Raven shoved it back into the hair tie that held the others.
The mirror seemed to mock her as Raven struggled to match the makeup of the second eye to the first. The evidence of a sleepless night stood out beneath the downward dip of her crescent-shaped eyes, and even a liberal amount of her favorite foundation had been unsuccessful in hiding it.
With shaking hands Raven switched the shadow brush for a thin-bristled brush which she dipped into the jar of purplish cream. It took three tries for her to get the line of her top lip the way she wanted it, each failure forcing her to clean her skin with a towelette and blot her lips dry with a tissue.
Raven knew she was making herself crazy. She wanted to look perfect, which caused her to worry about every detail. A bride was supposed to be a vision of beauty on her wedding day, but today Raven felt more like a little girl playing dress up. The thought shook laughter from deep in her belly as she remember the times as a little girl she’d stared in a mirror just like this one and dreamed of her wedding day.
“You ready?”
Raven turned to see Kia’s face poke in through the partially open door, and her eyes twinkled in the bright overhead light. “Wow. You look amazing, sis!”
“I don’t feel amazing.” Raven grumbled, wondering if the black eyeliner under her eyes was as crooked as it looked when she turned back to the mirror.
Kia crossed the room and stared into the mirror from over Raven’s left shoulder. “You look perfect to me. See. This is why it takes you weeks to finish a painting. You pick at the smallest details until you obsess over them. Just take a deep breath, and let the worry melt away. This is you wedding day, not a day in front of the inquisition.”
Her sister was ten years her junior, but she always seems to know what to say to cut to the heart of a problem. Raven took several deep breaths, and released the final breath in a long sigh. “I only get one chance to do this just right.”
“Unless you’re like Auntie Mary, then you get six tries.” Kia laughed and untied the length of cloth that held Raven’s hair off her face. The dreads cascaded over Raven’s shoulders and down her back. “I don’t know how you do it. You make these look glamorous.”
Raven chuckled. Kia’s hair was softer than her own, the auburn strands much more like their father’s hair than their mother’s. Kia tried doing dreads her first year of college. It’d been a disaster. “Maybe I should tie them back with something.”
“No way.” Kia reached to take the black plastic bag from the hook on Raven’s closet door. She pulled the plastic up and away to reveal the white buckskin dress that lay underneath. “It’s time.”
