Excerpt:

Josh turned toward Foothill Park at the base of the rambling, gentle, south foothills. He parked in the small vacant lot by the single streetlight, and grabbed a flashlight from his glovebox. They ascended the wooden staircase, to the wide path with grass and trees on each side that circled back to the parking lot. Stars and an orange moon lit their way, while all around them crickets and other creatures serenaded the night.
Josh took Rachel’s hand. “So what’s going on in your girl-brain?”
Rachel started to talk and stopped. She squeezed Josh’s hand and sighed. “Josh, I have something to ask you. Don’t freak. I don’t really know how to say it.”
Josh adopted a Jewish accent. “So then just tell me about it already before I die of curiosity.”
Dropping her head against his shoulder she queried, “Don’t you think it’s time we quit talking about dating romantically and actually did it?”
Josh cranked his head to stare at Rachel. He fell speechless. His cock stiffened yet he stressed at the potential for disaster.
Rachel lifted her head toward him. “You’re scaring me. I can’t read you expression. Don’t hate me Josh.”
“I don’t think I’m capable of hating you, we’re best friends. You’re right about us dating. I know we’ve talked about it, but I’m afraid.”
“Josh, I love you as my best friend and the only thing keeping us from being closer is love making and romance. I’ve thought about it a lot especially since you came out as bisexual. I’ve talked to my parents and prayed. I called my best friend from high school at her dorm in Colorado.” She paused for a breath, “We played at that party that turned into a college sex-feast. We laid naked in your bed and masturbated ourselves to de-stress you after your mom’s suicide. No more casual play; I want to make love to you. You’re the one to take my virginity.”
He brought her hand to his mouth and kissed it.
“Josh, When I play with myself I think of you. No matter what I do, I think of you.”
“Oh, Rachel, you are sweet. I’ve never had a real girlfriend, one that I was serious with. I’ve only had fuck partners. Maybe I’m like my mother, not capable of love. I like guys, too. I was with Cole earlier. I felt guilty because I was having sex when you called me and I forgot to return it. How would my bi-ness fit in with our dating?”
“I don’t know.” Her response was almost a whimper. “I really don’t know. It’s obvious you and Cole are getting closer.”
He bent to close the gap between their heights. “And to think I met him cruising a men’s room on campus.” They hugged in silence. Warmth and security flowed over Josh. I love her. Not just sexually, but deep and enthralling. They separated and their lips brushed, but a moment later they locked into a loving kiss.
Rachel hushed, “I’m scared. I don’t know if we are best friends in lust or in love.”
Josh laughed. “I’m scared, nervous and excited.”
“Very excited?” She kissed him again.
“Oh yes, verrrry excited.” His breathing ratcheted up. “Rachel, I feel enchanted by you. I think I love you romantically, and I’m so afraid.”
“Joshua DeAngelo, I feel the same with you. We have to remember this moment forever.” Her hands squeezed his ass. She whispered, “I’m excited. Down below. Oh my God your ass is so hot!”
A gentle, warm breeze brushed over them.
“I want to make love to you, Rachel. I’ve never made love to a woman. I’ve only had sex.”
“So in a way, you’re still a virgin?” She grinned.
He laughed. “Yeah, I guess I am. Our first time is going to be special. Not in a park.”
They kissed with passion. He pushed his hips and rigid dick into her. She wrapped one leg around his leg. Another warm swipe of air swirled around them, rustling the trees and bushes.
“Josh, that’s the second warm breeze in a minute. Do you think Heaven is blessing us?”
