The demanding buzz of his landline shattered Tim’s thoughts. He eyed the machine critically, unable to think who would call him at so late an hour and supposing it was probably something urgent, or possibly work. Resigning himself to another troubled night, he lifted the receiver.
“Hello, Tim. Are you alone?” The voice was husky and feminine. He didn’t recognise it at first.
He still didn’t know who he was talking to, and struggled to identify the whispery tones.
Carole, he realised, and his mood brightened considerably. Just the sound of her voice was enough to drive away the troubles that had haunted his thoughts. Carole was a long standing friend and something of a flirt. Their relationship had been skating along the edges of unconventional ever since his last girlfriend dumped him.
“Is everything okay? What can I do for you?” he asked. He half hoped that she might need him to come over for some reason.
“What you can do for me is this. Open your fly and get your cock out.”
Tim had been as far from aroused as it was usually possible to get, but her words flipped a switch in his brain, and all else was forgotten in the face of her demand. She had never asked anything like this of him before, but he wasn’t going to object. If Carole wanted to bless him with a filthy call, he was all for it. Holding the phone in one hand, he used the other to liberate himself, startled by the instruction but trusting that Carole would have planned something good for him. He wanted to lose himself in whatever she was offering. In all the time he had known her, she had always seemed like the sort of person who looked out for those around her, and he did not see any reason to relinquish that impression now. She knew he was lonely, missing his sex life, and deeply attracted to her.
“Just so as you get the picture, I’m lying on the middle of the bed and I’m not wearing anything. I have my legs spread wide, and Robert has been licking my clit ever since I dialled you.”
She paused, giving Tim the chance to fully envisage this scene. It startled him to think her husband was privy to the call, could hear every indecent suggestion being made. For a split second he panicked, then reason took over. If Robert was in on the call, he was obviously okay with it. That was probably a good thing. Tim thought of Carole’s creamy thighs, the slight curve of her stomach and the glorious roundness of her breasts. He wondered what it was like to lick at her tender slit and taste her juices and the idea of it made his mouth water.
Author Bryn Colvin has a longstanding claim of taking her research seriously, and Talking Dirty is a fine example of diligence at work. Many of the details in this story are true, and provided by a friend who did indeed work as a police officer for some time. As is always the case with Bryn’s work, you’ll have to speculate where facts end and fiction begins. When Bryn isn’t researching for her erotic fiction, she spends her time outdoors as much as she can, is an active pagan, a green and a musician. You can catch up with her at www.brynneth.org.uk
