Monogamy is a very over-rated commodity.
Blurb:
Buddy and his boyfriend George spend their holidays every year at Lake Legacy, happy in their monogamy. But this year is different. Something happened on their previous stay which had poisoned the atmosphere so when one of the occupants of their share cabin hires a movie director and young porn star to make a movie, nothing will be the same again.

Excerpt:
The sound of late arrivals dragging their bags upstairs and past our room together with loud greetings and laughter, woke me up. There would be no chance of getting back to sleep until the house was silent. George could sleep through anything but I got up because my mouth tasted like dried sperm and I needed a drink. Scratching my balls through my boxer shorts, I went downstairs into the thick of activity. I was barely awake, but even I could see there were more people than normal and a hell of a lot of baggage cluttering up the floor.
“Hey, Sleeping Beauty honours us with his presence,” Dean shouted.
I heard Brent whisper loudly, “I thought you said they wouldn’t turn up this year.”
There was good reason for Brent to be concerned. He’d been George’s best friend until about a year ago when he stopped visiting us at home and even phone calls to him and his boyfriend, Cameron, went unreturned. George had been heartbroken by the split from his old friend, especially as he had no idea what had caused the rift.
“Good to see you, too, Brent,” I said. “Cameron.”
I begged George not to come back to Lake Legacy, telling him it bored me, that I found Dean’s attentions odious and a change of scene would do us good. George would hear no argument against it, not even that it would be awkward mixing socially with his old friend, which I suspect he saw it as an opportunity to discover what the problem was.
“Is he here, too?” Cameron asked.
I bridled that Cameron couldn’t even bring himself to mention George by name.
“Caught them fucking when I burst into their room earlier,” Dean smirked. He grabbed for my ass as I passed him on my way to the kitchen, bending me over and pulling down my boxers. I didn’t bother to struggle; it would have just given him more pleasure in his attempt to humiliate me. “See how moist his tight little ass is?” I heard a few sighs from the audience. “Anyone for sloppy seconds?”
I wrenched myself out of Dean’s grip, grateful I was wearing boxers as I tugged them up otherwise my stiffening cock would have been a dead giveaway on my way to the kitchen. “In your dreams!”
Splashing my face with cold water before retrieving a carton of juice from the fridge, I wandered back into the living area. “What’s with all the gear?” I asked, swallowing a mouthful of cold orange and mango.
They looked like they were all hiding a guilty secret. Smiling broadly, Dean attempted to put his arm around my shoulders but I shrugged it off.
“We’re making a porno.”
“Who’s we?” I asked.
“All of us.”
“Except for me and George.”
“Ah, yeah, you two are a distraction we didn’t take into account, because we didn’t think you’d be here after last year. You haven’t told him then?”
“Maybe he’s the accepting type,” I replied.
Brent laughed.
I brought their attention back to the subject. “The movie?”
“We thought you’d both be no shows, whether because you’d split up or because you were too embarrassed…” Dean shrugged. “You’ve got balls, mate.”
“And a licenced glock pistol in my luggage upstairs,” I added.
They didn’t know whether to take it as a joke or whether I was serious. I wasn’t about to enlighten them.
“No need to be like that,” Brent said.
“Anyway, short story is we all enjoyed last year so much we thought we’d go the whole hog and film the weekend for the memories. Keep it on DVD.”
Author Bio:
Barry Lowe’s dreams of winning the Nobel Prize for Literature faded about thirty years ago when he realised what he wrote best was about the wild, whacky, wonderful world of sex and that his vocabulary would never rival Patrick White’s or even Evelyn Waugh’s. Since then he’s been happily churning out the odd gay sex comedy for stage as well as a mountain of newspaper columns and an avalanche of erotica for print and eBooks. He is also the author of Atomic Blonde, a biography of 1950s sex goddess, Mamie Van Doren. He lives in Sydney, Australia, with his long-term partner, Wally.
